Given was on the BBC pre-game going on about massive squads etc...so his card is clearly marekd.

Yeah, I'm thinking now, whenever I have to watch BEIN and they cut to the hairy handed pervert he has not one nice thing to say - I think with BT, as others have mentioned, all they talk about is the other team, how they can beat us, what to do to beat us etc. Either way I fucking love it when we put them in their place!
I was surprised at Shearer and Given's total lack of balance today (yes I know they were legends at Newcastle) but Shearer struck me as someone who is clearly feeling the pressure with his refusal to give us any credit post match and the possibility of them blowing a Top 4 place.

Excellent win for City. Newcastle were dangerous opponents and missed some good chances. Great 1st half, pace and running at them sort of tailed off in the 2nd half and things got a bit scrappy.
Inspired sub from Pep, KDB was floundering in the 2nd half and looked well off it. Bernardo did very well and is looking more like the player he was 2/3 years ago....unfortunately, KDB is going the opposite route.
Haaland was much more involved today which is good to see, some good runs from Jack later on, he really needs to be more central as his best work usually comes when he is running more centrally.
Magic from Phil at times, great to see him getting back to his best...what a difference when one our guys take a chance and runs at defenders in the box, with pace.
Tricky match overcome again.

Obviously, it's a good result but it feels like paper over the cracks a bit currently, doesn't it?

Our midfield gets played through far too easily thus leaving our backline exposed. KDB, Gundo, and Rodri are just too slow collectively.

Grealish MOTM for me with Foden not far behind.

Only God knows how Trippier escaped that game without a card.
Ran the midfield from what I saw.

Phil deffo got his mojo back

With Dias presence at the back again

I’m confident we can go on a good run

If Arsenal win all their games then they will deserve it. But it’s a big ask

Great result, missed the first half so cant be my usual brilliant summary/assessment.....but what i saw of the 2nd i enjoyed very much.

We have our mojo back, the players look to be on the same page and individuals are shining.

We still look a tad shakey at the back but swapping formation and personnel wont ever help that, and until we settle in that area of the pitch its a slight concern.

Based on 45 mins only.....Rodri,Ake and Dias looked fantastic,Jack and Phil not far behind.

Love Bernardo.....amazes me he isnt in every 11.

Like I said...is there any broadcaster wihch exists that gives us any credit ? BT, Supersports, Sky, Bein...pick your poison.
It isnt the done thing , they all piss in the same pot , criticise City and attract the the knuckle dragging 'istree club plastic fans , credit City and your revenues plummit , nothing personal , just business.
