They're like United fans without the silverware to back up their "our fans are better than yours rhetoric". Since the arrival of Keegan their crowds have been pretty decent to be fair even when they went down, they dropped but not to a piss poor level. Not sure why they aim that shit at us though - perhaps it's the numb nut element and they've got a few!

We've only done what their club did when they were being "financially doped" by their beloved Sir John, i.e. ground expansion. We were no great shakes when we moved to the Etihad so our crowds grew as a result of what we were doing at the time and we've averaged over 40000 for every season we've been there. We were always going to attract new fans in the wake of our recent success like they did under Sir John. They're just embittered because when they had more money than anyone else they actually won fuck all!
