I still find it mildly amusing that some people believe players will be frozen out of the squad in the busiest season in the history of the game.

What exactly is the point of playing him.

I’m sorry but he is actually fuckin useless .

We need to secure three points here so no needless resting of players. Our record against parked buses lately has not been encouraging even with our best 11.

That said I think Dias can do with a break as we trust Laporte and Stones to deliver against Newcastle.

The key for me in midfield is to have one holder rather than two and in attack where we have been the worst lately, we need to find the best front three going forward as soon as possible.

Walker Stones Laporte Zinchenko
Gundogan
De Bruyne Foden
Bernardo Aguero Torres​

The goal is to take Aguero off early second half and then KDB and Walker if things go to plan.

My son-in-law is a Geordie a few years back he was staying with his parents in Ponteland and was in his local, the Diamond Inn.

Met Office yellow weather warning for wind and rain. Wind from 15:00 on 26th to 12:00 on 27th. Rain from 18:00 on 26th to 09:00 on the 27th.

Frankly glad I don’t have to battle my way through it using crap public transport to get to the Etihad. Who ever comes up with these timings during the Christmas holiday period needs a good seeing to.

I agree,its a horrible time for a football match.

Boxing day should always be 1500hrs,but its just another small part of the game,and our tradition,that has been eradicted.
