Yep

He cant be relied upon when the chips are down,or when the team needs inspiration and fight. He is one of a few with a soft core.
He just doesn't have the necessaries to grab a game by the scruff, being content to go through the motions while flattering to deceive with his energetic, but ultimately, ineffective bursts.

Id have Palmer way ahead of him.
Palmer & Alverez will be the reason Sterling will be told to look for a new start

Edozie, Borges, Delap all reasons to say goodbye

Wouldn't suprise me if Jesus now finds himself back in the managers plans for next season sharing with Haaland

Sterling is inconsistent, he was excellent against Leeds and play him on the right wing and he can definitely cause the opposition problems with his pace. I agree with you with reference to starting Gabby up front.
Agree - thought he was superb against Leeds. I don’t think he’s an impact sub, not in his temperament and to come on in the situation we were in last night is not easy - I had no idea where he was supposed to be playing. All looked messy and lost.
Without Walker we need his pace from the start on Sunday. I’d go front three of Grealish Jesus and Sterling

He started against Leeds as not 1st choice

Sunday is all or nothing he wont start before Phil or Jack unless injuries

Time to release the handbrake on Grealish.

If ever there was a time to empower him, it is Sunday and the remaining games.

You never know, he might just prove to be the difference in winning us the league, as others are clearly running on empty.
He was a few inches away from waking himself up last night. Barring a freak goal line clearance and a great save by Courtois I reckon that cameo from Jack was a positive before the train wreck happened.

We need him now more then ever. Our squad is running on fumes, and we don't know how they'll react to the heart break of last night.

Who will take Sterling though, can't see many teams fighting for his services
