Well no, they'd been stuck in the Division 1 playoffs for the past six years instead! ;)
good practice then
but you do mean three

Aye, I had thought it was longer. Just checked; four in total, three in the past three years. I'm impressed you knew that offhand. You're one of those football pub quiz specialists aren't you?

Worst ground to watch football in for away fans in the country.

Bar Brighton!

If I've done the arithmetic right, then they're up if Notts Forest v Cardiff is a draw or Cardiff win. Be a great atmosphere tonight at Sid James Park if that's the case.

One of my favourite away trips so hope they make it back at that we play them on a weekend, preferably a Saturday.

I'm glad Newcastle are back, they belong in the prem. Hope WBA come up as well.
As for the sheep shaggers, hopefully they will be enjoying another season in Div 2.
I hope West Brom come up too, I've got a mate who supports them and I enjoy winding him up :P Would like to go up to Newcastle too.

Always a good trip, as far as I'm concerned.

Even if it's like watching subuteo.

I was talking to some Newcastle fans and they are pretty realistic about next season. Most of them think they will be lucky to make top ten.

I work with loads of them and this is true of the vast majority.

They're all daft and can get quite hysterical when things are going badly or nicely, but the majority aren't stupid. Most Geordies I talk to have really enjoyed this season and will settle for Premier League safety next. It is noteworthy however that they've gone quiet on the Mike Ashley front. A recent Newcastle Journal headline was '£500k: That's How Much Ashley is Spending on Toon Every WEEK'. A significant U-turn from a year ago.

Already promoted because of the result @ Forest. We'll see a lot of fat, happy men on tv soon. :)

Yep. And one of them will be my husband. Reckon he might be home rather late, rather drunk, and tomorrow will be rather hungover :D

I guess I'm in the minority, but I hope they go straight back down again (hopefully on the last day so we can see them all crying again).

Just like Tottenham and Everton, they are self important morons who think they are the biggest club in the world.
