Newcastle post match thread

when you play at 50% and make big changes and still win and forget lady luck with city hitting the woodwork 3 times and thinking its not our night we still coast the game and win
this is not the best you can get and we will get even better with mendy stones and a couple of new faces and if pep can get his best starting 11 out on the pitch all fit and 100% it will be a great show and anything can happen

Wasteful, but counter intuitively, maybe not a bad thing. Pep will praise the team but also do whatever it takes to try and avoid it happening again - i.e. work on finishing.

Jesus w
Well said Easy : Some fans on here don't see the big picture. Aguero wasn't poor. Jesus worked hard for the team. Otto was immense
as throwing himself around trying to chase the ball down right until the end, Ota was solid as fuck, and his goal line clearance was fantastic, totally switched on.

He is right! We should really have scored more than one in the first half. Gayle should have scored at the end really so we got away with it but lacked our usual clinical side today. Kun played well I thought but should have had one at least.

We didn’t get away with anything, The barcodes got away with a shoeing as our finishing was below standard.

A truly awful match to watch entirely down to an anti-football display by Newcastle.

Our finishing was second rate and the Bar Codes very nearly snatched something they didn't deserve at the end.

But 3 points it is and very acceptable, lets hope Crystal Palace try to play on Sunday and have a go.

We've seen them given...

Bow your head in shame

Madley would have booked Danilo for diving.....Lol.
Well done Marriner.

We owe Vinney one last chance to go to a World Cup, so, sadly, he & the club should now manage his injury accordingly, by playing him in as few league games as possible from here on in, to maximise his chances of doing so
Why do we owe Vinny a chance to go to a world cup when the right thing for him to do would be to pack in his international career and try and repay the club that has been paying his wages for the last 3 years while he has played hardly any football for the club through constantly being injured. I wouldn't care if he never kicked another ball for Belgium ever again. We owe him nowt.
