Newcastle post match thread

The stat that really was amazing was after about 10 minutes when City the away side were closing in on 100 passes and Newcastle at home had not made double figure touches of the ball.

3 points
15 point gap
Another win
Sterling scores again
Minutes for Silva, Gundogan and Danilo
Silva and Delph got a rest
Rags are shit
Mourinhos a moaning ****
Dippers just been dry bummed by Southampton
We've got Guardiola
We are Manchester City

There really is nothing to moan and whinge about.

Whats with that goal shot from kick off by Newcastle?

Ever seen that before?

I think Benitez did us some damage. Its called contempt.

You can’t have a good game when your opponents wouldn’t fight.

Anyone have a clip of Kun's apparently wrongly disallowed goal that @SWP's back has mentioned - not saying you're wrong, by the way.

His offside goal that I saw was the correct call. I don't remember another one.
See above. Defender plays him on when touching the ball whikst purposely attempting to block it and it deflecting off him.

innit. 'disappointed with the performance' fuck right off!
15!
Yeah Halsey on Bein Sport rightly pointed out that if a defender purposely blocks a shot then the attacker is played onside and if there was VAR then it would have been a goal as whilst most fans don’t know the rule, every official does.
i'll take your word on it...2-0 it was then!

I've normally a modicum of respect for Benitez.
After tonight......fuck him.

Tonight's match reminded me of that turd Paul Lambert, when he was in charge of Villa, the season that the Dippers won the league.

Villa had already been assured of safety (obviously, the Barcodes aren't safe) on the Saturday before we played them, YET, they filled the away bit of the Etihad, and gave their fans NOTHING to be entertained by. Bus parking in the extreme, until Dzecko broke them down (and then Yaya's mega goal). I've wished nothing less than gonorrhea on his wedding night for Lambert, ever since.
I'm going the same way for Benitez.

People watch football to be entertained.
Someone should tell these twunts.

Never underestimate rafa . This was a well drilled team we faced and with bit of a quality we would’ve lost points today. So fair play to toons.
So far not overly impressed with B silva and gundo . Both of their decision making is not on the level .

Belting result....finally able to rest Spanish Dave and win

Need to find a way to rest KDB now

A long way to go in this season yet

Ah right, yeah that's the one. Although, it took a replay to show the defender had got a slight touch on the ball thus deflecting it.

Re vinny...pep is getting as sarky as the fans commenting on his injuries. I understand it, but would prefer it not to be so

Your reasoning?
He’s a club legend and hero of mind however;

He’s been paid half a million quid plus a month for three years whilst suffering these problems. Three of which happened on international duty.

He’s a club legend but it’s not the club’s job to pay him a further £3-6m so he can star at the World Cup.

If he’s fit and in form he plays for the club that pays him.
