The 4 top teams in Saudi are now also owned by PIF who are going to inject £billions into them to try and make their league one of the best in the world.

How does owning 4 clubs in the same league work in reality, in terms of competition and fairness to those 4? Broader question not really related to Newcastle as such.

We'll not become a feeder club as such as they've said all along that they are looking to build a multi-club ownership with Newcastle at the top with players being loaned to feeder clubs and Saudi players coming to train with us. We've already had a lot of coaching staff in Newcastle who have now gone back to Saudi to train up and coming Saudi players. We're looking to buy at least one club in Europe and possibly South America, others could be added.

having said that, we do have Jeff Hendrick on our books so I guess we could be persuaded to sell him to them for £200 million if they're desperate.
You are Amanda and I claim my £5

I'm sure you're owners will have big plans for the City as well as club. Attracting business and more money being paid into the region. This will all be ignored.

You start next season flying they'll be a few clubs putting in "it's not fair!" motions to change the rules to suit them and we'll be lumped in with you.

PIF have invested £1 billion in Teesside since buying the club and the Ruben family own the Racecourse and quite a lot of our City Centre, including a huge new office block which is currently under construction and costing £100 million to build.

Clubs and fans moaning is class, it shows they're worried about us.

I guess PIF will own them, build them up and possibly sell them, possibly keeping one. I'm not too sure how competitive they'll be when playing each other or if results will be fixed but it's not good.

This was last night in Riyadh and probably a sign of what is to come at Newcastle now that we have partnered with SELA as our front of shirt sponsors as they're already commenting on things around St James' which they find boring and need turbo-charging, I can't wait.

Whose going to stop them? Whose going to complain without concern they might have thier hand chopped off?

Surely it wont be long before a forced sale is levied upon Newcastle? If it could happen to Chelsea & Abramovich, it wont be long before the Premier League become too uncomfortable with the execution of teenagers?

This Bin Salman guy is a butcher and cant behave himself. I actually think he will be chased out the league before the Newcastle experiment can get underway.

I don't know the details of this case or the politics of that part of the world ... but having the death penalty imo is a decision that each country is entitled to make for themselves.
