That result may be more important than we currently realise.

Oscar Bobb take a bow mate. Sensational. KDB looked head and shoulders above absolutely everyone when he came on. Foden also very good. Defensively we are all over the place. Ultimately that is a great win considering the position we left ourselves in at half time.

I couldn’t watch it all but there was one period in the second half when Walker was on the wing one second then I blinked and he was in the middle running toward the goal passing the ball superbly to someone as he went. I had to rewind to check it was definitely him!!
The hug Pep gave him at the end was heartwarming. :-)

Played well in the second half tbf to him.

Can't believe that finish from Bobb. 91st minute...last chance of the game to win it and he's got the confidence and self belief to touch it perfectly round the keeper and keep it glued to his feet to touch it in a millisecond before the defender gets close enough to block it. Sensational from Oscar.

Shame we don’t have the alternative commentaries anymore.

That felt a huge win. Our attacking play was brilliant at times. Rodri showing why he is the best DM on the planet. Phenomenal 2nd half performance and nothing left to say about KDB other than the genius is back. And we shouldn’t underestimate that finish from Oscar Bobb, absolute genius.

Did have some concerns though. Maybe walker was unlucky for first goal. It was a brilliant ball to Isak but for both goals surely he has to show the player the outside. He did exactly the same thing in the 2nd half. I’d like to see him have a spell out of the team. And we need Akanji and Stones back cos Gvardiol just isn’t a LB. So we need Ake there. God only knows why we spent £85m on a CB to play him at LB.

Great game - just back to the hotel. Town Centre full of Blues singing 'Oscar Bobb, Bobb, Bobb'. Took me most of the afternoon to get up to level 7 - such a shite away end - but great niose from us, only a tiny bit quiet post second Newcastle goal - and so glad to see Oscar call out the away end signing all game, and dedicate his goal to us - the fans - what a class act.

1st half although we played well, Foden the stand out, their goals might have been world class, but were terrible goals to concede. Not sure Gvardiol playing so high & Doku work on the left especially with Doku doing a Sterling impression.

2nd half we had a lot more control, king Kev coming on & changing the game as there seemed so much space for Kev to do his magic. Thought Rodri was excellent 2nd half & what a finish from Bobb

I could sit here for an hour and watch that on a loop, the lad has quicker feet than Foden and that's saying something. What a little stunner he is.

You can see why they weren't bothered about letting Palmer go.

A righteous win.

We are in the presence of greatness.

City were excellent but ended up trailing to two very good finishes by the Barcodes. OK, Kyle should have been a bit quicker to Gordon but the latter still had a lot to do.

City were even more dominant in the 2nd half and the World’s best player came on and pierced a tough, resolute Newcastle defence, twice. The Geordies can defend so make no mistake scoring 3 there was a real feat.
