He scored because he knew we'd miss the penalty.Especially so because he could have easily gone down and won the stonewall pen.

Glad he took it out of the equation. He scored because he knew we'd miss the penalty.

We scored 3 amazing goals. SSN would be playing all of them on loop had it been the dippers.Glad he took it out of the equation.
My twopen'orth. Loved the Fog on the Tyne album, particularly the two blues tracks, easy to play. Still have a few vinyl albums.Good on you. Hope you caught the BBC documentary on Alan Hull a year or so ago. A great watch.
And the same wishes to City. Can't begrudge a club whose fans have known genuinely tough times in the modern era, and stuck with them.
He's always like that.I seriously thought he'd banged his head and was wearing one of our shirts, he sounded like a fan enjoying the game.
I'm not sure City would have been given a penalty ?Especially so because he could have easily gone down and won the stonewall pen.
Spot on with this post. They are top athletes and go through high intensity training sessions and matches. It’s the demands of too much football and are putting their bodies through it. The rule makers ought to have a duty of care to the players. But sadly it’s about money let alone the stupid offside rule that to the fans is very annoying indeed. No care of duty to the players there with first Stones and then Eddie. Career threatening injuries if the rule makers don’t amend this rule with immediate effect. I don’t know why the linesmen have a flag anymore. I’m off on a tangent now but very good post indeedWhat he was alluding to was the amount of non stop football he's played over the years without a break.
Albeit he was injured, there wasn't much he could do outside of getting himself fit, so he enjoyed his brain break & the physical rest as he built up his fitness.
People don't realise the level of physical & mental fatigue top sportspeople endure to remain at the apex of their chosen discipline.
Kev looks totally refreshed & invigorated, albeit lacking full match sharpness. As he said, he felt it physically, but he rose above that because of his mental will to win.
The football authorities just aren't listening. In the drive for more money, they're increasing the amount of top level games they want players to compete in, whilst putting onerous squad restrictions on all clubs in the pursuit of FFP to protect the hegemony of the elite clubs.
Something has to give, because the amount of pointless games in today's football is beyond ridiculous. Why can't mid-season International breaks be combined into end of season mini tournaments?
What's the point in the Nations League? Why expand the World Cup, Champions League & Club World Cup? It's all about the greed of the games governing bodies, & player welfare doesn't come into it.
Bro if you want to moan and nitpick someone else mistake , make sure your viewing position is same as normal human and not on hand stand or watching on mirror .this was the position of Ake and Dias just before Isak scored, the pass from Gvardiol wasn't good into Ake, and from there we are all over the place....I know we play risk and reward football, but that's just suicidal

what you on about? my point is that Ake and Dias were the edge of the Newcastle box in attacking positions, when we lost possession...could do without the patronising tone as wellBro if you want to moan and nitpick someone else mistake , make sure your viewing position is same as normal human and not on hand stand or watching on mirror .
It would have worked had Gvardiol not played the worst possible psss at that exact moment. I've not rated him one bit since he arrived, very poor. However, other than that dreadful pass, he had his best game for us on Saturday, by a street.what you on about? my point is that Ake and Dias were the edge of the Newcastle box in attacking positions, when we lost possession...could do without the patronising tone as well
We are forever leaving 1 or 2 at the back when attacking, especially from corners and free kicks. Gotta agree about it being 'suicidal'this was the position of Ake and Dias just before Isak scored, the pass from Gvardiol wasn't good into Ake, and from there we are all over the place....I know we play risk and reward football, but that's just suicidal

lol yes doku played as 10 few times and dias was over lapping walker on the right flank too.what you on about? my point is that Ake and Dias were the edge of the Newcastle box in attacking positions, when we lost possession...could do without the patronising tone as well
By the same token that bloody ref is always shocking. Runs our games like he’s just stepped into a dog turd walking out of a library.a really enjoyable game to watch, old school to and fro with an injury time winner from the young man.
getting hit on the counter was perhaps as predictable as the sun going down at the end of the day, i just think we're accepting it now as a by-product of what we do, hoping that we do more damage at the other end!
watching Silva's effort again, the saved volley which he caught beautifully, Foden was actually in acres of space to his right and perhaps should have been the option.
Bobb's goal was amazing, everything about it. The fact he didn't go down for a pen was pretty incredible, he was clearly fouled even without falling over and the presence of mind to finish after that was brilliant. Bobb has arrived.
Having a go at us for them not getting “foul” on Gordon by Dias, and that possession leading to the goal. It’s also why they were chanting “You’re not fit to referee!”One of our best away performances in the Guardiola era.
Anyone know why Burn was so keen to join in our first goal celebrations? All I can think is he's a secret Blue or he's got Bernardo in his fantasy team.
Shouldn't he have been talking to the ref?Having a go at us for them not getting “foul” on Gordon by Dias, and that possession leading to the goal. It’s also why they were chanting “You’re not fit to referee!”
I think you could see that he picked Dias out of the crowd eventually and Dias let him know he didn’t touch him!
