To be honest they weren't any better. Got away with a few dodgy challenges and was extremely fortunate they had the officials on their side. Arsenal will be pegged back

I just don't understand.

We finally found a transitional system that makes Haaland the most dangerous striker in the league, but in away games when it's the perfect chance to play it we just go back to this boring toothless possession that leaves Haaland isolated and the defence exposed.

Haaland had 3 great chances and failed to take them. He's as much to blame for the loss as Foden, the officials and VAR.

Pep cost us that with the timing of subs & the wrong subs.

At 1-1 he should be making subs to kill the game not going gung ho. Doku & bernie was fooked before they scored. Cherki did nothing all game but give it away.

To then bring savio on is just insane.

Bit unlucky: didn’t get rub of the green and they did.

Typical City defeat: dominated in many ways but too wasteful in front of goal.

Dreadful first goal that we conceded. NOR’s blind clearance was a poor decision but he is a kid and will learn; then it was too easy though for them to break on us. It is still our Achilles heel being played through too quickly on transition.

We needed to win today, which makes it a bad defeat in the context of the wider picture but not in terms of the game, which was one of those “not our day” IMO.

We’ve lost too many games now. The last two defeats were narrow and a bit unfortunate but it is those first two that were stupid.

Made things very difficult for ourselves but we do have a talented squad.

Cherki wasn't the greatest maybe, but he did give Phil a chance on a plate from 8 yards that somehow Phil failed to score from..That's not exactly nothing is it?

Fairs fair even Erling had an off night so don't put this all on Bernie, Doku and Cherki.

I will agree Savinho gave possibly the worst cameo I've ever seen as did Oscar.
