Newcastle United (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Can someone please explain to me how there isn’t a conspiracy against us by the PL and the PiGMOL?

The decisions against us.
The lack of a penalty. The refusal to card there players.

I mean looking at recent history and what some refs have been charged with we know they’re degenerate, sick fucks but it doesn’t excuse the treatment we seem to get.

Surely they’re just fucking cheats.

I said on Friday this game was smelt of Villa away and that’s how it’s turned out. Missed a load of chances but once Newcastle/Villa got in front and settled down we couldn’t break them down or even look like scoring.

Raheem Sterling scored 131 goals and provided 95 assists for Manchester City during his 339 appearances. His goal contributions made him the club's second-highest goalscorer and a key player in their trophy-winning years.

clown.
Agree but Sterling is not our second highest goalscorer Eric Brook is.

Cherki wasn't the greatest maybe, but he did give Phil a chance on a plate from 8 yards that somehow Phil failed to score from..That's not exactly nothing is it?

Fairs fair even Erling had an off night so don't put this all on Bernie, Doku and Cherki.

I will agree Savinho gave possibly the worst cameo I've ever seen as did Oscar.

Those latter two were as shit as they always are.

You can’t be serious with requesting how many times Tonali committed a foul. I counted about 7 fouls with 3 of them being him stopping a counter. At the end he also booted the game after Joelinton’s foul to waste time. The referee officiated this game and actively allowed a physical game that he wouldn’t have allow against other teams. Newcastle were allowed to rough us up which is a testament the level of officiating we got today.

No, I didn’t request how many times Tonali committed a foul. You said him Joelinton should have been sent off numerous times.

You know who we really really missed today?

Rodri.

Gonzalez has been brilliant recently but that was the ultimate 'we're really missing Rodri' game.

No control in the middle of the pitch and no one linking up the play from the back to the rest of the team.

Gonzalez was invisible for the whole second half to the point I forgot he was playing and you just can't afford to have a game like that in that position, especially away from home.

Obviously he isn’t totally to blame for that defeat and others were arguably worse including Phil Foden and Cherki who did no where near enough. Those misses were also totally unacceptable.

These tough away games really show you where you're at as a team and it's blatantly obvious we're not ready to win the title again. We need a top class right winger, Rodri back, and a great no.8 as well.
Harsh on Gonzalez. Newcastle have a physical midfield, borderline foul play. We had a midfield designed to attack. Gonzalez got a kicking with no protection from the ref or his team mates. Joelinton finally got booked for 94 minutes of persistent foul play.

My eyes must deceive me. I still can't believe that was given as onside.

Having said that we had our chances and failed to take them. It also didn't help that the ref let them get away with a million fouls and didn't produce any cards, and we should have had a pen for the foul on Phil.

No wonder Pep stormed into the refs room after the game.

Obviously he isn’t totally to blame for that defeat and others were arguably worse including Phil Foden and Cherki who did no where near enough.

Gonzalez was more in terms of functionality when you need a higher gear and level. A world class 6 really makes a difference in those games.

Yeah, I read what you wrote but you are effectively pinning it on him as the main bulk of your post is about him. His performance was quite low on the list of problems, far behind finishing & defending effectively.

The refereeing decisions were hard to take today and something stinks about the offside calls being given onside.
However I was commenting on the team performance and we were outfought all game all over the pitch due to a bafflingly and it's a real weakness that needs addressing.
Yes we do look lightweight but we are not spending anything in the next window in my view. I don't see it.He may stick with what he has.

We we're well in that game today. Chances were missed. If the official in the middle does his job we get at least a result if not more.

Fucking infuriating. I know we are still rebuilding but really. We batter Liverpool a couple of weeks ago and today this. Yes i know Newcastle isn't an easy place to visit but we simply have to start getting results at these kind of places. I know we missed a few chances but we're kidding ourselves a bit as they missed more and scored twice. Typical barcodes raise their game 70% when they play us. Also when, oh when are we going to stop being so wide open??? As for Savhino....are the club being bribed to play him or something?? Fucking dire.
As for the officials, just fuck off. Fucking horrendous and that includes var. I said pre match they would kick us to fuck and so they did, again the ref totally inept.
If....and its a big if.... Arsenal drop points tomorrow today won't sting as much but its still a missed chance to make inroads ourselves.
Also who has Marmoush fallen out with? Surely if you need a goal he's a better bet than Savhino and Bobb? Fucking hell im a better bet for a goal than Savhino. Annoying day.

No the thick media twat Richards said it wasn't hand ball because it hit his elbow
At the half he said he thought it was a penalty because he lifted his arm up, and he did,and it should’ve been. He said the only reason he could think of, of why it wasn’t given was it didn’t directly hit his hand, but he did say it should’ve been a penalty at that point.
