It was a tight game, Newcastle probably shaded it. We missed a sitter and should probably have had a pen. The ref let them consitently foul without booking them. We weren't good enough and gave away too may chances, Newcastle defended quite well, so fair play to them.

I knew we weren't getting back in it when I saw the 3 subs coming on at once, none of them are really good enough to change a game. We need to improve our sqaud a bit to challenge for the PL I think.

Today was the acid test. We needed to get at least a draw. Somewhat relieved,

Donnarumma is covering up a load of defensive issues. Without him, we would be many points worse off.

Pep's setup in midfield was shocking and Newcastle just packed theirs and had the run of the game
I can take getting beaten or being beaten fairly, but when the match officials are clearly hell bent on giving the 3 to Newcastle is another story

I think this season is so open and teams are going to drop points all the time. I am giving Arsenal the 3 points tomorrow, so 7 points behind is ok at this stage of the season, when we kick on and start to get a good run of games and get Rodri back, anything can happen

City has to question the match referee and VAR, a simple question is talk me through why the 3 pens were nothing given and a clear offside goal given

The ref was terrible today but not as bad as the team performance.
