I know there has been some suggestion that we need to throw this competition but I hate seeing us give up on trophies. I know we're in the Club World Cup which affects the quarter finals of this cup I think but I believe we do have a spare mid-week to fit it in.

Going to be tough with all the injuries and suspensions.

I don't think Pep will be too bothered if we lose this one as with the club World cup if we progressed to the later stages we would have to play the youths. So I think he will use it as game time for players coming back from fitness, give Phillips a run in the team and give some youngsters a chance.
