So many narratives around this one.

One for example, Gundogan looks LOADS better when played next to a physical defensive midfielder like Nico.

Still nowhere near prime gundo, but this makes him better.

I think Bernie would do equally well in such a role as well.
 
Brilliant performance.

The difference with a composed Nico in midfield and pace at the back from khus.

Stones immense again as was gvardiol.

We controlled the transitions better and held on to the ball a lot better.

Marmoush is a player and savio a baller.

Honestly, the signs look very good going forward.

Arguably our best performance of the season. Everyone played their part in that.

Marmoush is going to be huge for us isn’t he?

Savinho was unplayable, especially in the 1st half.

Stones was excellent and I think I might have a bit of a man-crush on Khusanov…could be the real deal this fella.

Nico gave us a calmness in midfield that we have been missing all season. Looks the business.

Special mention for Gundo and Rico, far and away their best performances of the season.

Got to follow that up now and box off that top 4 position.
 
Great result, brilliant from Marmoush, he’ll be some signing that lad! Nico looking like he could be a great signing too, settled down the midfield beautifully.

Pretty sure Haaland is ok, just a tweak, needs a bit of rest that’ll be all.
