We'll get the same "2nd half was shite" shite this evening but that was a massive win against a team that created only 0.5xG. They didn't have any big chances second half, reduced to pumping into the box or long range pot shots.

Khus and Guehi were immense. Haaland too. NOR a shoe in for Young Player of the Season.

Over to you Arsenal. Can see them dripping points tomorrow.

2nd half sensibly played deeper, looking for the break - pity we were incapable of finding the ball, though. Final 3rd poor all night.

All in all - fantastic win, never easy to play the same team three times in quickish succession, especially winning all three. 4th one will likely be as tight again.

Our defenders tonight were outstanding

I love how they wanted to book our players for kicking the ball away, as if they don't take 3 minutes to take every single free kick, morons were wasting time while losing.

Newcastle are a good team, that was a very good result.

We should have made it more comfortable really with the breakaways that we didn't turn into shots.

We were not as bad in the second half as other recent games. Sloppy, yes. But the fight and effort was there in spades.

Haaland looks well up for the run in.

Pressure on Arsenal now, come on City!
