time to repay the Carabao exit to them. they had quite the shit draw in cups (City, rags, chelsea in carabao) now City again before the semis in Fa cup while Chelsea yet to play a PL club I think, and in the CL they had a nice little group too. :)

they dont have much else to play for other than FA cup, maybe they try to get 7th to sneak into Conference League ?
not sure they are good enough to get 7th this season, they would need to finish ahead of all of Brighton, chelsea, WHU, Wolves for that, Howe found out a bit this season, defensively nowhere near as solid as last year, recruitment was deep shit for them (Lewis Hall on something like 90 minutes playing time and he isnt even injured, Tonali betting secrets lol, Barnes mostly out injured, only Livramento any good so far)

still angry at them how they were up 1-0 vs dippers at home league game with a van dijk red card in first half and managed to lose 2-1.

Ortega
Akanji Stones Dias Ake
Rodri Kovacic
Nunes Foden Doku
Haaland

I'd give both Bernardo and KDB a rest for this one as they both looked knackered against the dippers.

I think Alvarez is a shoe in for this game as are Nunes, Bobb and possibly Gomez. Ortega, Lewis, Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol/Gomez, Kovacic, Nunes, Bobb, Doku, De Bruyne, Alvarez

With 5 days rest and an international break to follow? Not a chance. It will be full strength.

Gomez, Bobb and Lewis will get plenty of game time away with their national teams
