Good riddence.

Gordon needs to spend all week to mentally be in games. Honestly 1 little thing outside of his routine or 1 intrusive thought and he’s not there. It’s exhausting for him to do it for prolonged periods.
He lets big occasions get to him as well. He missed our cup final last season because he got a stupid red card. At the beginning of this season we played Liverpool right after the Isak saga, a big game, he got a stupid red card. He’s done it far too many times and his apologies over Instagram over it were meaningless.
Overall he’s only had 1 good season for us, the last two seasons he’s been poor.
I also think he massively struggles to break down a low block, and he’s absolutely fucking deluded if he thinks his finishing is anywhere near good enough for him to start playing through the middle like he says he wants to end up.

£70m, so long as we have done our homework right and reinvest that well, then we should be laughing all the way to the bank.

Genuinely think that’s an unreal deal for Newcastle
