Newcastle Utd (H) Post Match Thread

Out of the remaining games this to me was dodgy bearing what happened midweek but that was brilliant what more could you ask ????
The away games at Wolves and West Ham will be a lot tougher but this is a perfect day to round off a very good weekend.

We just need to do the necessary over the last three games now.

[And Chelsea just need to win their second cup final of the season. And Madrid just need to win their 11th or whatever it is. And then a Liverpool have gone from the quad to a dodgy league cup win on penalties.]

That's better. The boys stepped up & put Wednesday behind them by putting Newcastle to the sword. It was a brilliant, cultured & measured performance of sheer professionalism.

KDB, Sterling, Zinchenko, & Grealish were the stand out performers, with Fernandinho not putting a foot wrong either. Gundog was key here, because he played deep & kept recycling the ball which setup multiple attacks.

Again, we missed plenty of chances which thankfully didn't affect the result & fingers crossed our attacker issues will be resolved come the summer.

Jesus looked subdued & strangely played VERY deep which meant there was several times crosses came in with no one there to capitalise.

All in all it was a good day, but we've got 3 tough matches coming up against 3 very capable teams who're all in good form.

COME ON CITY!!!

They're taking it well on RAWK...

They are a soulness club. Deep down they know these titles they've won are worthless.

Yep, it’s why Bluemoon is full of hate and and bitterness despite winning the league most years. It burns them that no one properly acknowledges it as an achievement alongside what we won in the 70s and 80s and Man Utd did in the 90s and 00s. Despite the Sky hype machine, the world knows deep down that they are a walking fraud of a club.
Yeah - I lie awake at night worrying about it.
