Imagine how Villa fans feel now... getting tonked with 6-0... we went into meltdown when we lost that to Chelsea a couple of seasons ago... but to lose 6-0 to newcastle must be really really tough to take as fans...

It's not that long ago we got spanked by a different north-east team.

Yeah, but Boro were better than Newcastle are now, and we were in absolute disarray at the time, with players not even trying due to the impending Sven sacking. Villa consider themselves a team who ought to be challenging for the top 4. It is more of a shock to the system for them so it will be agonising for them, way more than it was for us.

and i can somehow sympathise with their agony... we know how it feels... this was truly a shocking result, I just wanted to say I feel their pain (the fans that is)

freak results as us against Boro happens especially when considering all the things goin around during that time... still it was also heart wrenching...

Id be suprised if they finished in top 7 again this season and thats not based on today, just simply looking through the team and theres not much quality in there expect for ashley young maybe.
