Newcastle Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Great win but wastefull with chances. Dzecko at the end with the lazy pass when 3 on 1 was shamefull.
Us firing on all cyclinders last season would have had 6 here today.

Although Newcastle have now lost 6 of the last 7, its still not an easy place to win esp with them playing like Stoke.

I heard thier fans sing "you just a shit man utd" but if sunderland win today they go above newcastle and its worse being a shit Sunderland.
Edit- Just seen Utd have Foy so no chance of an upset today

Great game, we need to be ore clinical in front of goal
Aguero is one of the best strikers but he needs to make ore of his chances

We should have scored way more specially at the end , we cant seem to pick out easy passes at times.

This win will help a lot it was a difficult fixture

who was your motm, mine will always be zabaleta as long as he is on the pitch

At times we looked like the City of last year, still worried though about our lack of finishing after we had opened them up.

This is a great result though and more importantly a statement of intent that we have a great spirit in the team and a desire to push on and get over last week.

Well done Blue's

Good win, just still not clinical enough in front of goal.

Sergio is working hard as usual but he's just way off atm

Garcia's best game for us

Was crucial we got three points. Didnt even matter how, going 9 points behind or even 7 was a scenario that couldnt happen under any circumstances.

Problem is we'll likely have this scenario for a while as the Rags have an easy enough run of games. Could do with them to even just draw a game for once this season.

Still need to put in 90 minute performances, but great to see us stamp our authority on the game early on for a change.
