Some real positives from that. Our incisive passing was back in places. Tevez and silva involved in everything. Yaya back to his best. Best of all, some good performances from players who have real question marks over them: Garcia, nasri and kolo. On another day we'd have scored 6.

Was crucial we got three points. Didnt even matter how, going 9 points behind or even 7 was a scenario that couldnt happen under any circumstances.

Problem is we'll likely have this scenario for a while as the Rags have an easy enough run of games. Could do with them to even just draw a game for once this season.

Still need to put in 90 minute performances, but great to see us stamp our authority on the game early on for a change.

Nothing is certain in football, the rags will drop points when people think they are nailed on to get them Wigan last year for example

Dzecko at the end with the lazy pass when 3 on 1 was shamefull.

Not to mention giving up his run when Aguero put the ball over a minute or two earlier. I thought he looked pretty uninterested when he came on.

Really wasteful today, as others said. Thought Tevez was more wasteful than Kun, for once, but that's more of an anomaly from him. Garcia got a goal, and this was a good bounce back, but I still would like to see him more active in general. Entire midfield was completely beat by 70 mins. Not sure why we bought Sinclair if he's not even a viable replacement for injury replacement Kolarov and a tired and about to be subbed Tevez is preferred. Have to find a way to blood in the youngsters who made the bench, we're going to need to be able to bring them on in injury situations like today--don't think today was the time to throw them in, but it sure would be nice to let them play some against some lesser sides so that we can put them in when these things happen.

falcao would be nice and go aguero-falcao-tevez-guidetti, 3 top class strikers and a prospect.

don't get me wrong i like mario and dzeko, quite a bit more than most on here i'd say, but i think we could use those fees and wages elsewhere (falcao + DDR? if only)
