newcastle - welcome back or not??

I've softened a little when it comes to the Geordies.

For years and years I've hated them for their delusions of grandeur and their delusions regardign their club being somehow different to other clubs and their passion being somehow greater than the passion other fans hold for their clubs.

I still hate this aspect of them and when I hear them singing "Where were you when you were shit!?" to us this season (as they will with more fervour than ever because they will now think they are untouchable as 'loyal' fans) the rage will burn as it always does but.......I've missed them, I really have.

You're right Pidge, everyone's here on merit but the away games always guarantee a good day out and our home games will always have extra spice and a full away allocation. Some of the away followings at our place this seaon have been pitiful.

So, welcome back you deluded fat fuckers. Tell Joey we're expecting him.

definately rather have newcastle than the likes of stoke wigan balckburn bolton

they are a big team and should be in the prem

Exactly what I've been saying mate. I've got nothing against Newcastle and they play football the right way, prefer to have them and West Brom in the prem than the clubs you named, especially blackburn (allardyce football) and stoke (is it even football)

Laughed like a drain when they went down... but I'm glad to see them back up again.

Might not be so gobby in future!

One of the best away days of the season. Easy trip up, great pub crawl round the toon, a mini Chinatown facing the stadium, and a great weekend away for anyone who likes culture (I normally stay near Bamborough Castle!)...

They can fuck off. I don't subscribe to all this 'the league will be better with Newcastle and Leeds, rather than Burnley and Hull'

I don't agree. I'd rather see Newcastle in the Prem than pub teams like fucking Stoke. At least Newcastle try to play the beautiful game the way it was intended, and you're always guaranteed a great atmosphere at Sid James's.

Besides, we usually do well against the Geordies so bring 'em on, I say.

Dont mind the geordies at all.

Will be fun watching that numpty Barton back next season.
