Newcastle has different areas, same as Manchester.
- I tend to go drinking around Central Station when i'm up there (Florita's, Perdu, Revolution).
- Don't go to the Gate, it's like the Printworks. Bigg Market is like going clubbing in a proper rough area in town with birds to match.
- Quayside is shite these days, and as overpriced as ever. But if you want to risk i then check out Chase, and Sea nightclub.
- Indie people need to head to the Academy (about 5 mins walk from Central Station) if it is on a Saturday night, the only indie night i know. It is called 'Bulletproof'. Bowie is on the playlist, probably better than what 42's and 5th Ave churn out these days.
