at this point in time, with the net and tv,

it puzzles me why people still waste money on newspapers.

Contrary to public opinion, it's a bit harder lugging a tv or pc than a paper around on building sites............

much depends on the area you are looking for however it widely held that the quality newspapers are

The Times
The Daily Telegraph
The Independent
The Guardian
The Observer (sundays)
The Financial Times

These are called the broadsheets

i hate to say it but news of the world always seems to get breaking newsw in football!

It's amazing how tabloids and the so-called qualities are as bad as each other these days. They are a waste of space but so is SSN.

Most are more reliable than other sources IMO, I used to look on here for info but it's no better than the red tops in reality. The Times seem to be most accurate but a bit boring!

They are a minority interest, the future is forums, and God help us.

Most of them copy from another and maybe twist the tale. Cannot believe a newspaper. I find the Times most reliable though, if i am being honest.

did a paper round for 3 years! delivered every paper you can think off!


i found these to be the best:

sun
star
mirror
sport
or any like them


thin, easy to fold, light so therefore making it easier to deliver!

the worst

times
guardian
observer
and the rest

thick, heavy, cant fold them, always got stupid magazines in! rubbish to deliver.
