Next 6 games, what is acceptable?

Be disappointed with anything less than 14.

But at this stage it's as much to do with the teams around us, I think we need to have a clear lead in 4th after these 6.

12 points.
3 wins, 3 draws.
That's 2 points per game, which is top 4 form.
I'd be happy with that return on the next 6 games.
The pivotal ones are Villa & Spurs at home.

14 March 2010 16:00 A Sunderland WIN
21 March 2010 15:00 A Fulham DRAW
24 March 2010 19:45 H Everton DRAW
29 March 2010 20:00 H Wigan Athletic WIN
03 April 2010 17:30 A Burnley WIN
11 April 2010 16:00 H Birmingham City WIN

All imo of course

Being realistic, only Everton from all them games i see as a minor threat even though we are at home, Brum are good at home and that's it.

Teams who want to finish in the top 4 don't lose games like these below,

A Sunderland - WIN
A Fulham - WIN
H Everton - DRAW/WIN
H Wigan Athletic - WIN
A Burnley DRAW/WIN
H Birmingham City - WIN

Liverpool lost at beach ball alley
Scum and Liverpool lost at Fulham
Scum lost at Burnley
Birmingham are a tough team to beat this season

acceptable to whom?

target 4th

after 6 games if we are still on for 4th then that's acceptable. If Spurs, villa and Liverpool loose all their next 6 games then 0 points would be acceptable.

We should get 12 points as has been said because that has been our average under Mancini.

The big games are Spurs and villa. a win in each just about put's them out of the race.

I think the FA/prem need to have a word with themselves though because they have screwed up the schedule something rotten. At this time of the season teams shouldn't have 3 games in hand. It makes a nonsence of the table.

Clueless. Sunderland have lost 2 at home all season. Fulham are also tough to beat at home.

so when chelsea, arsenal and the scum go there, do they think 'oh shit, the mighty sunderland' no they don't, they have the mentality to go there and get a good result, something what we lack and what some of the fans do to, so if we get beat today it's alright then? yes sunderland are a good team but were a class above.

We're going for the 4th spot and not the title, and what did Arsenal do at Sunderland?

Yesterday they were very lucky to beat Hull with 10 men, needing a keeper's mistake in injury time, and some very lenient refereeing (which we never get) to pull it off.

We are in 5th. But look how many games Spurs and ourselves have won away. We win 1/3 of our away games
