Next Captain

Just read what Pep said about appointing a new captain and for me its got to be someone out spoken. Aguero and silva seem the quite type not sure about fernandinho but Sterling stands out to be our captain.
 
Merlin because its his last season and a lasting tribute to his service to the club , ably assisted by KDB who will take the mantle on for the following season , but we have a few leaders in the squad who are prepared to stand up and be counted when the going gets tough.
 
Not sure KDB will get voted in by his team mates
He can be a bit stroppy at times and loses his cool on occasion.
You have to look at who’s popular/respected in that changing room.
Silva and Dinho for this season.
Bernardo next year.

Leadership will probably mean he will stop being those things. KdB for me
 
The guy on commentary with tyler today wouldn't have it that pep is letting the players chose their own captain,he really scoffed at the idea,i think it's great,pep knows all about squad harmony and everyone taking responsibility

Steve Nicol and Darren Gough have criticised him for it as well.

I think I'll go with Pep on this one.

Yes that was him,they are oldies who don't understand new ways of managing,they must think pep doesn't know how to manage a dressing room,how much more does pep have to do to prove he knows what he is doing lol
 
I think if Laporte's English continues to improve, he'd be a natural successor. Our best defender, a player that steps up in tough away fixtures and seems well liked by players and staff.
 
David should it during his final season as he took it over when vinny was not playing a lot of the time and after that can only see KDB or Bernardo being the captain. Decision may be decided on fitness of Kevin perhaps.
