I was only saying last night to the better half, imagine if we bought Terry - I really think he could whip Bridge and Richards into shape as well and form a great partnership with Neds.

Failing that, I'm struggling - doesnt appear to me any natural leaders/motivators in the current team.

Why does everyone say Kompany? Juxt because he's an articulate guy doesnt mean he's necessarily captain material. I never see him geeing the team up if we go behind, or belting out orders like Terry.

no on a real i would give it to kompz, dunne hasnt given the performances this season that scream out i should be captain. if not kompany i would give it to de jong just because hes a fuckin legend!
 
We need the captain to be a player who is consistent, injury free and basically a regular 1st teamer. We only have Ireland who is anywhere near this. But after the last few games I think it might be too much on his shoulders. I think we need to buy a new captain.

(Kompany and DeJong in particular will need to improve greatly to be in contention IMO)
