If not its pretty stupid...just watched the highlights of the one EDS oldham and itss really wetted my appetite.

Im sure the club would attract alot of attention and plenty hits especially watching the next xavi's and messi's in the barca youth team.

The International Youth Tournament dedicated to FC Shakhtar’s 75 Anniversary will be held at Kirsha training centre from 19-21 August.

Eight U-17 squads from across Europe, divided into two groups, will be the tournament participants. The group compositions are as follows:

Group A: FC Barcelona (Barcelona), FC Internazionale (Milan), Togliatti Football Academy (Russia), Romania U17

Group B: FC Shakhtar (Donetsk, Ukraine), Manchester City FC (Manchester, England), AFC Ajax (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), FC Spartak (Moscow, Russia)

Besides, the tournament schedule has been confirmed. On the matchday one Shakhtar U17 will play their counterparts from England’s Manchester City. You can learn the full fixture schedule below:

Apparently its too expensive to stream the games on the OS but personally I would pay £5-£10 a month to watch these games being streamed.
Surely expense can't be the reason, can it? The website has been developed to open us up to new fans from all over the world and this would certainly be a way to encourage fans onto our site wether they are currently city fans or not. Everybody is interested in seeing the future world stars.
I also think City's long term aim is to stream first team games onto the website when we can get out of the stranglehold of Sky, so this would be a little taster of what is to come.

They should stream it for members, offering it free to the world is a bit daft because of the costs.

Not if it brings in much needed new fans.
I'd imagine anyone wanting to watch a youth tournament is probably already a committed fan of a club, it would cost a fortune and maybe gain us a handfull of new 'fans' who might have us as their second team.

It shouldn't be a problem if its only a handfull of new fans then should it?

That would mean millions of dollars of TV revenue lost.

I would love to see our NextGen games streamed live.

Eh? Our club pay to provide bandwidth for thousands to view matches on the off chance a couple might then become 'fans' and buy a shirt - crackin' idea.

Why not include it one of the perks of membership? I mean with Blue membership £10 is a lot jus to be able to buy tickets. That way people will pay the tenner to watch even if they're not going to go to the games. Or have it available as an add-on for £10-15 a year. I'm sure loads of people would sign up to it, and if 30,000 people signed up to it, that'd be £300,000-450,000, which would at least cover the cost of streaming the games, and probably add something to the club's coffers!
