So, when do we reckon this will be? I fancy this Nasty Party will jump early next year. They are working On reducing any Labour/Lib comeback by pushing through the Election Bill to make voters produce some kind of identity thus, they claim, reducing voting fraud although there is no proof that this exists but will prevent those people who will have difficulty in producing these documents from voting and we all know who they are. With the anti-protest bill going through as well they will be able to say that they have reduced the disruption from the great ‘unwashed’.

With this in mind early next year appears, to me, the best time. Still not long enough into the future for the full scale disaster of Brexit to become a problem. I also think that there will have to be an anti Nasty Party electoral pact to try and negate the Electoral Bill.

Johnson is becoming a liability to them but he someone with enough charisma to win them votes.

The Labour Party needs to get it’s electioneering department sorted and to pull in the same direction and the same with the local activists. The one thing the Nasty Party are good at is all pulling in the same direction when it comes to a GE.

I expect another leadership election in the labour party before the years out. December GE to take advantage of it.

What we must remember also is the Nasty Party are in the process of reducing the number of MPs and we all know who will benefit from this.

I can only see a Tory victory but with a reduced majority on a lower turnout. The gerrymandering will help, as will the farcical Voter ID move.

Johnson will do what he can to cling to power, because it is the job he has craved all his life. The Tories will be concerned if Labour pick up in the polls and they see Johnson as a vote winner, which will help Johnson cling on. I expect his ambition is to be the longest serving PM of the modern era and he is ruthless, any potential challenger will be stamped on. You can see by who he promotes that it is about him, not the country, he promotes people loyal to him, not the best person for the job.

I have thought for a while that Labour are finished, Starmer is quietly moving the party rightwards and is alienating the left, who will be politically homeless and maybe will not vote or vote for minority parties. Hence the non Tory vote will be fragmented. The Lib Dems look bereft of idea's and they have lost a lot of councillors which will affect their campaign base. The Greens will be affected by the assault on the environmental campaigners by the establishment. Already they are seen as the proverbial middle class Waitrose yoghurt eating yoga going party.

The SNP will take Scotland, Plaid will do well in Wales, so the Tories are laughing all the way to more cronyism, more corruption and more dodgy contracts for their donors, families and friends.

It is pretty depressing really, but I can see the Tories winning the next election after the next one as as well and maybe the one after that by which time I might be dead and my hopes for a Socialist UK will never be realised.
