I am refreshed and ready to run another Music Poll in April.
To make it fair we will have a poll to decide the next one.
I’ll put this up for a few days to give everyone a chance to vote

Sat trying to decide which way to vote, but can’t decide which one is least likely to take us down the favourites bands route. ( and avoid the smiths voters )
To avoid the Smiths you'll probably need a poll like top ballet score, a "least scruffy " band or the leadsinger with least amount of shrubbery handing out his arse pocket.
Even then, well have to be on our guard as these Smith adulation will try anything to squeeze them in.
Previous polls had these winners
Favourite London Town Hammersmith
Favourite actor Will Smith
Favourite occupation Blacksmith.
Favourite Beer John Smith

I’d be happy with any except the singer one as I don’t think being a good technical singer necessarily makes me like or dislike a song/band (it’s actually probably the opposite). By sticking with an instrument we’d be focusing on technical ability or unique sound, so no one picks e.g. Dylan or Lennon for their skills, as many songs as his admirers love him for. The guitarist one is probably the most fun to debate and stretches across acres of music and loads of styles over decades in a way the other instruments don’t, at least in the context of rock and roll. Failing that, I’d go with drummers.
