Best number one singles of all time ?
Good shout that.Best number one singles of all time ?
Fake newsIt's worth remembering that The Smiths didn't win the best band vote.
Saves me a lot of work too, trying to remember all those 14 user names and the correct passwords.....Let's just say Morrissey and the Smiths win everything then we don't have to go through the whole excruciating exercise and saves you a load of work.
But in my eyes they did......It's worth remembering that The Smiths didn't win the best band vote.
No, I just don’t care if a singer can sing well technically in terms of liking the music I listen to. Whereas instrument competency/technical flair matters more. You don't think vocals is about technical ability or unique sound? I find that an interesting take as for me it's usually one of the most important factors as to which artists I like and which I don't. Then again I'm not that good at telling who is better than who at a specific instrument.
I'd say:
Best keyboard player must be a shoo-in for Rick Wakeman.
Best drummer: Neil Peart.
Favourite guitarist Dave Gilmour (but he won't win)
Favourite bass player: No idea, maybe John Paul Jones
Favourite male vocal: Dave Grohl (although to be honest he could do all of the instruments himself)
Some lineup that
It's still a style though, so people probably do care even if they don't notice it. Sometimes when a band changes lead singer, such as Marillion or Queen, you can tell the new lead singer is just as capable, sometimes better, but the different way they sing can reduce the enjoyment of the end result - there's so many factors such as pitch, vibrato, enunciation, capabilities in harmonies with other singers, range. I'd argue replacing the lead singer is the hardest thing to do for a band but that's just my opinion. No, I just don’t care if a singer can sing well technically in terms of liking the music I listen to.
