No trains for Wolves away and could affect travel to Leipzig:

National dispute - members on Avanti, C2C, Chiltern, XC, EMR, GA, GTR-GNTL, GWR, LNER, Northern, SE, SWR, Island, Southern/GEX, TPE, WMT asked not to book on for duty 00:01 - 23:59 Sat 30 Sept and Weds 4th Oct. Further to withdraw all non-contractual overtime starting from 00:01 until 23.59 on Fri 29 Sept and Mon 2nd -Fri 6th Oct.

Ah bollocks, oh well it is as it is, I support the Strikers and will find another way to get to wolverhampton
 
If I am, honest I blame our council for this shite this time, ASLEF are clearly doing this one to disrupt tory cunts coming to Manchester.

Well if the Labour council would stop fucking having them, they could have the confrence in sussex or middlesex and their decrepid fan base of home counties pensioners and crop of ugly **** tory youth wouldn't need to travel ;-)

They seem to have permanently moved it to Manchester these days, which irritates me slightly. Especially when you see the increased police presence and security, which Manchester tax payers are presumably paying for.

Do the council get a say though? The Midland Hotel and whatever G- Mex is called these days are private businesses I assume. Can the council reasonably tell them who they can and can’t allow to hire their premises?

G-Mex is owned by the council.
