I grew up mainly with the white shorts and I do generally prefer them.

However, I think we need to get away from thinking about Coventry - I'm sure the owners are bothered about our image at European and World level, not nationally. As such, they will be more bothered about making us differ from Napoli and Lazio, than making us different to Coventry.

We don't want to look different than other teams, we want to look like Manchester City!

This shirt is fucking hidious. It's bad enough Nike use one of their generic shirts and just change the colours. It's insulting that they would change to colours that aren't our colours. They'll probably want 60+ notes for one of these monstrosities as well. Fuck off Nike!

I get why the owners want sky blue,white and navy as the colours of CFG but wouldn't it be easier if they killed two birds with one stone and had our home kit sky blue tops,white shorts and navy blue socks. Colours match and tradition held for those fans who feel strongly about it.
