I've been reliably informed that the red & black kits don't sell in the numbers that other ones have. Perhaps the Neil Young tribute might buck the trend - but it's a City myth that everyone would buy and wear those shirts.

What do we think? I really like it, have impressed myself! Couldn't really make the Etihad or Umbro logos white as they wouldn't stand out. Think blue looks pretty good though.

I really, really do prefer the maroon to the black and red stripes.

The new kit will have a V neck. Blue Moon will be embroidered just underneath the collar and there will be darker blue spots starting at the base of the shirt going lighter as it goes further up the shirt towards the breast.

To me it sounds awful, but that's what they're going with for next season
