puma were in front but they are now trying to get it for less as they have not got the funds,
city want adidas they have tried to get them for the last 5yrs but adidas are holding back.
i think umbro are going to snatch it

I did these for the great bluemoon kit competition a couple of months ago. Nike apparently seem not to be a possibility however.

Interesting again, thank you. I would not be overwhelmed with Umbro personally. I think only the kit being made by Nike, Puma & Adidas (in that order) would make me go out and buy it.

Although I did buy last seasons third shirt for my wife at Christmas as she liked it (and she wore it for Christmas dinner when we visited her family, who support united which made it worthwhile) I have not bought a City kit since the Umbro classics when I was a kid. I think these days they are better shirts out there than Umbro, although it would be a slight step up from LCS I could not get too excited about a City kit by them. Everton seem to have had the same kit for the last 5 years by Umbro although it has changed every season, they look the same every time.

Thats what I would have thought!? Why is the fact that the rags wear Nike, mean City will supposedly not be considered?
Surely there must be rival teams around the world that both wear Nike?

Maybe Nike are still bitter about him leaving them to join us ......
 
I've no real preference as long as it's not LCS - I find the waffle textured fabric on the inside of the 08/09 season shirt is ridiculously uncomfortable.

I quite liked the l/s reebok shirt from the other season though the brand is probably a bit rubbish for some (although they do all the NFL jerseys don't they?).

On a side note does anyone know what brand of technical l/s shirt robinho and other city players wear under their shirts? - the logo always has a bit of tape over it

They wear it because of the acute danger of nipple rash.

I got nipple rash off that orange shit we have whilst playing 5 a side. Will never play footy in it again!
