Next three fixtures

QPR (H) - Stoke (A) - Arsenal (H)

I expect 9 points from these 3 games, but our defence is pretty shakey at the moment so i'm not as confident as i probably should be...

Chelsea have the same fixtures, in the same order, coming up. If they collect all 9 points they'll have 18 points already. They've made a great start to the season and it would confirm that this season is definitely a three horse race...

What does everyone else expect from these fixtures, for both teams?

9 points would be great 6/7 wouldn't be disastrous but anything less probably would be.

Don't worry too much about Chelsea, it's very early days.

Mancini has never beaten Stoke away I don't think and top 4 clubs never seem to win there anymore. I can only see us getting 1pt there. More confident of us beating Arsenal at home, so I'll go with 7pts from the three games. It's Groundhog Day every time we play Liverpool, Stoke, Everton, and Sunderland away... every season same outcome, draw or defeat, no matter how well our team is playing.

6-7 points is the best we can hope for. We still have to find a way to beat Stoke.

for me Stoke is the one that stands out, no surprise there. i think width is the key when playing at stoke and beating them at their own game, freekicks, crosses, corners... Dzeko needs to start for this game for sure.

Yaya will need to be in an attacking role with Rodwell and De Jong holding.

Not sure about Dzeko starting, don't forget Aguero could be back by then.

However, I do like the idea of Rodwell and De Jong in the middle and then Yaya forward from the start, rather than making this change 70 minutes in to the game.

I too, would have had expected maximum points from Wigan (A), Reading (H) and Newcastle (H).
