When did city suddenly become shit?

Some here will have us down as relegation candidates.

noone said that. we aren't at our absolute best at the moment, mostly in defence, that's clear for anyone to see

i for one am 100% sure we will retain the title

I bet you it isn't.

well if we keep letting in soft goals it will be

We may see another 3-2 or something, true. But the poster seemed to think it will be a carnival of football from us, so i'm guessing he thinks it'll be a 4 or 5-0 win.

Nothing since the Newcastle away game has convinced me about or defence, right now all we should be bothered about is wins and focus on the performances later.

agreed

I think we are due a game like Swansea at home last season, or even Villa, Wigan, there was a few.

QPR are not a good team, we are a good team.

Being Champions is like pulling the fittest girl in school, we should be walking round with a chip on our shoulder, and remember...

We score when we want!!

At the minute it's "we'll concede when we want". I suppose I admire your optimism, but right now our form is relatively poor and our defence needs sorting out.

On the basis that generally 2 pts per game is needed for a top 4 finish, and that top 4 should be our min expectation this season, I'll be expecting 6 points - from the 2 home games. Points at stoke hopefully as a bonus.

We are beyond top 4 surely, anything below 2nd would feel like a let down

I know what you mean, but we don't have any right to top 2, and if we happened to finish 3rd behind Chelsea & them for example, then youre disappointed but it's hardly a crisis

QPR - Should be an easy home win

Stoke - Should be looking to win here, draw wouldn't be that bad but I think Mancini needs to prove he can get wins at grounds like the Britannia.

Arsenal - Any game against Arsenal will be difficult but im hoping we will have to much for them and get the 3 points.

QPR should be a comfortable win; a clean sheet would also be good. I would imagine Mancini and his staff will be working hard on defensive cohesion this week. This new defensive coach that has come in needs to work harder it seems!

Stoke away will be difficult but I think we should come out very attacking from the start and go for an early goal. This should see us on our way. The longer the game goes on without anyone breaking the deadlock the more I would worry about conceding a soft goal from a set piece.

Last season the home game against Arsenal was a very entertaining affair despite being only 1-0 so I'm hoping for something similar to that. In previous years before we became champions I would see this sort of game as a time when an opposition player finally hits form (perhaps Podolski or Giroud in this case); however, I'm confident this won't happen any more and that we will hopefully put in our best performance of the early season and claim 3 points.

Confident of at least 7 points.
