Next up Weds night - Champions League - whats your view?

Going to be a strange night I think, what can we expect crowd wise? are we just going to have a party and hope for the best. I hope if we do go out we leave the CL with a message to the rest.

Lets rock the place and hope for the best.

It wouldn't be a miracle at all. One side has to win a home game and hope another does not win away from home. Far from a foregone conclusion...

Villarreal aren't as big a pushover as they have looked at times. Don't know what their injury situation is maybe some of their better players are coming back now? Plus there is the matter of pride nobody would want to finish rock bottom never mind on zero points.

Very few away games in the CL are easy at least if its against a team from one of the stronger leagues. The dominant 3-0 win there a few weeks back does not mean Napoli are going to have it so easy.

I doubt Bayern are going to take it easy just because they have already qualified. Lost a couple of domestic league games recently too that might make them more determined to get a win.

To be honest I think we're done for. That home draw with Napoli screwed us. If a club is looking to get out of their group, they've got to be winning their three home games and get a minimum of two pints from their three away games. If we'd beaten Napoli on matchday 1, then we'd have a much more straightforward mission next week. AND it would be in our own hands. The one disappointment so far this season. Ah well; there's always next year.

Don't know why so many people are so negative about this game! We could win and go through, we could win and go out into the Europa League. Either way, it's a City game and I'm going to be treating it like every other game and coming home with no voice! I hope thousands of others around me think the same!

I would be more worried about beating Bayern. Bayern is quality side despite their current form in the Bundesliga. I could easily see them scoring first on counter and than making it difficult for city to score. Key will be patient and not allow early goal.

Napoli is not that great of team. Nothing is given in Champions league games away. I could easily see them drawing. Anybody know what the bookmakers are saying about Napoli win? I personally put it as 50/50 of Napoli win.

Go out gracefully [with a win of course] accept Thursdat night football thru gritted teeth, blood some youngsters in europa and hopefuly get some valueble game time under our belts, in the meantime go full throttle for the title!
