He'll end up at Barca or Madrid eventually, don't think anyone else has a chance

I thought Neymar was going to Real or Barca.

Would love him at City though.

All seems to have gone quiet on him.

He is going to be one of the next superstars but he will end up at either Madrid or Barcelona.
Those 2 clubs throughout history have been the dream destinations for Brazillions alike plus do Brazillians really ever succeed in England??

Neymar will be playing in the Olympics so he would be definatley be worth checking out.

Is this true? It basically says that City had first refusal option for him as a part of Robinho loan deal..

It stopped being true once we stopped loaning Robihno to them

Does not really matter now, we had until 4th of august 2010 to use that option

However if we made a deal to let him play for santor for a couple or more years i would be over the moon.

He is joint Barca in 2014. They have paid a downpayment of 10million euros and have to pay another 40million when they sign him. If Santos sell him before then they have to pay 20million euros in compensation so that means any club will have to pay 60million euros in cash to equal the deal.

It's a done deal for Barca, they see Messi dropping into Xavi role later in his life and Neymar playing upfront.

That always struck me as a very strange deal. First refusal on them while Robbie was on loan. What a useless negotiation that was

We were never really in for Neymar, it is Ganso who we were closet to. His injuries have taken a toll on his development and now we don't see interested.

I repeat Ganso was the one we were linked with.

Given the sums demanded by Santos, it might still be a good few years before Neymar goes anywhere at all.
The clubs get the sponsors to front up money now

So much cash in Brazil these days the young players dont have to move. League is still gash though.

I think with China, Russia, Brazil, USA and the middle east all starting to get some serious money in football now the FFP might well hurt the European leagues more than was intended
