NFL 2024-25

I’ve not been this excited watching Washington for as long as I can remember. The running backs are decent we have a quality qb . The defence looks reasonably solid with Luvu and Wagner pass rushing. The only problem I see is that we don’t have another quality wide receiver to compliment McLaurin. We give away a few silly penalties which needs tightening up but so far so good and with the cowgirls losing today our main threat is now the Eagles if we put away the giants next week
Our secondary is not great as well, we could do with trading for an "elite" DB is one is available before the the 4th

Yes I still wear my Redskins top and have my lanyard in work :-)
NFC East looks like being decided on the double fixtures with Philthy Eagles and the Cowgirls.
That Hail Mary was something else the way Jayden kept making time for himself.

I was pleasantly surprised by your defense last night.

The more I watch of Daniels, the more I like. I watch college football so had watched him play at LSU. I honestly, did not expect him to look so good in the NFL. I thought the same of CJ Stroud at the Buckeyes. It's fair to say I am not a talent evaluator lol

By far the best and most competent the Browns have looked all season and a very good game, to boot. Watson was a millstone around everyone’s neck, even if they didn’t know it, or want to admit it.

'Competent' being the perfect description. It made a refreshing change.

Really liked what I seen of Micahel Hall Jr. I think that is his only his second game because of the ban. It's clear he has he potential to clearly outmatch anyone else on the IDL who is on the roster. Just needs a bit more nouse, refining of technique and a bit more power. A year or so in an NFL regime will fix the power issue. I loved yesterday's game because I enjoy watching OLvDL. Great effort from both the Browns DL and OL.

Same here...Daniels was electric at LSU but I didn't think he would hit the heights as say Joe Burrow did in the NFL, mainly because I thought his slim frame wouldn't stand up to the brutal hits you expose yourself as an agile QB.

Defense wise, if you have Dan Quinn as your head coach and former top defensive coordinator for the Cowboys I think you can safely say they will always be competitive on that side of the ball.

What seems to help out Daniels so far this season is a decent running game, but then again I've been impressed with his decision making & calmness under pressure.

I'm fairly sure the Washington organisation thought this would be a rebuilding year, but who knows if they decide to roll the dice & go out & get a no1 WR to add more weapons for Daniels before the free agency window closes.

Can’t remember a weekend with quite so many close finishes to games. I think 9 games ended with the margin of victory 7 points or fewer.

Just watched the highlights of the Cardinals at the Dolphins. Murray is like Jerry the mouse when he leaves the pocket.

The only concern I have with Daniels is the way he goes to ground, open to injury

The OL was unrecognizable from what we’ve seen so far. It did remind me of how bad it was when Johnny Manziel was the QB and he got pummeled every game, yet they ‘magically’ fixed the holes the minute they moved on from him.
