NFL 2024-25

Jets getting whipped like rented mule. Total capitulation, embarrassing.

Blow it up-AGAIN!!

Don’t think there are any dead cert QBs coming out anyway. Haven’t really seen much of Deions kid.
I watched this game and it was really ugly. What happened to the Jets defence? Arizona are a decent team but the Jets D absolutely got their arse handed to them. Rodgers looks washed up.

We have a terrible reputation of taking QB's in the first round who turn out to be pure cack.

I'd rather we wrestled Baker Mayfield away from the Bucs, at least he has some fighting spirit. Rodgers is just embarrasing.

Tbf...thats most teams who draft a QB in the first round. Its almost a no-win situation for them, aside from the obvious financial incentive. A talented QB in college gets drafted most likely by a struggling team (due to them picking high) with lots of holes to fill & lack of a strong team identity.

I've always felt its more more about whether the QB suits the system than talent. Of course there are some exceptions but even Peyton Manning had a poor rookie QB season for the Colts & eventually matured & won a Superbowl with the right team.

I'm unsurprised with Rodger's behaviour as it was a big reason why he dropped way down in the draft to the Packers due to his personality traits & perceived arrogance at California, whilst the 49ers went with more of the 'safer' QB option in Alex Smith. In saying all of this it all worked out for Rodgers going to a competitive Green Bay team & learning under Brett Favre.

As a Dolphin fan, the thought of the Chiefs going undefeated & emulating the '72 Dophins is nauseating. Think they play they still have to play the Bill's & then the Steelers on the last week of the regular season.

I know many of you gents following this thread and the NFL are rather new fans. I found a great series on YouTube about the old AFL. The AFL was formed in 1960 I believe as the NFL was a closed shop. It’s excellent and has some great footage and interviews.

It’s called Full Color Football and it 5 episodes I think. It’s on a channel called TheAFLHistory b

Just finished watching the Lions and no idea how they managed to win that. 5 interceptions from Goff and down 15, some comeback that.
Yep an ugly win but the defence really stepped up in the 2nd half.

That's three big wins on the road, hopefully there won't be a let down on Sunday because the place will be rocking.
