N'Golo Kante

We could do a lot worse if he indeed does have a release clause. However, as much as I'd like another CM I'd prefer a more attacking player who can take the game by the scruff of the neck when needed.

You really do like comparing Apples and Oranges don't you?
If I wanted an attacking player and age was not an issue then yes, I would try and get Payet (29).
If I wanted a player to dramatically improve the team's defending then Kante is the man.

No team has 5 midfield players of that quality. We'll add one more and it won't be Kante.
 
Would love Kante. Think he'd be an unbelievable addition to our midfield. A bit baffled why we aren't pushing hard for him considering his release clause.

Me too, it's not even like he is a Gareth Barry type who you only really appreciate when you see the game live, not sure what we are looking for if he cannot be seen as an answer to our rocky defensive midfield.

I suppose for the moment we just have to wait it out and see what the plan is in midfield.
 
He was very impressive. If France had a centre-forward they'd be very difficult to beat...and a left back. Evra was terrible
