Had it done in last few weeks. Couldn’t afford the £650 (route canal) + another £700 for the crown from my private dentist, so they referred me to an NHS one. Said there would be a long wait, but was seen in less than a monthDo you know that for sure? ...i really need root canal (I never thought i'd ever say this)treatment! When I booked appt in my NHS dentist 2 weeks ago (and appt for crown was only 1 week) ....bloke in front of me was back because of pain after root canal, which he had done the day before, so they do it ;)Do you know that for sure? ...i really need root canal (I never thought i'd ever say this)treatment! I believe a root canal is 'band C' NHS....which is about £300.I paid only about £50 for a root canal about 4 years ago NHS. Will be more now but less than a ton I think.
The root canal is band 2 and if it's a molar tooth it most likely will require a crown or new crown (as the tooth will be at risk from fracturing) and that will take it to band 3.I believe a root canal is 'band C' NHS....which is about £300.
Are you sure you've got the right date this time? ;)I've got my appointment for root canal treatment at 3.30. Been looking forward to this.
Yeah...they just phoned me to tell me. haha. I've got the shits. Are you sure you've got the right date this time? ;)
Is there a fly in the waiting room? There's always one here. And a noisy kid. And a friendly loony that everyone tries to ignore. That's me :)I'm currently sat in my dentist waiting to have root canal done. £565.
It's a 2 appointment process apparently.
My appointment was at 2.30 (really)
Here you goUnder funded NHS. The future will be people with either beautiful white teeth or graveyard gobs. Not much different from now, really. I'm going to learn dentistry from a YouTube video. Do it myself....can't be that hard.
The leading Dental Consultant at the Infirmary had to kneel on my chest to get one of my wisdom teeth out.One guy had me in a headlock trying to "fix" one of my back teeth back in the day at that NHS clinic near the 7 sisters. I never went back after that
The not-very-wise teeth. Useless fuckers. The leading Dental Consultant at the Infirmary had to kneel on my chest to get one of my wisdom teeth out.
And the rest.I heard it was around 300?
