Would just like to add that after having Sky Sports News on for over an hour I seen Quinn once. I did however see Kevin Phillips at least 3 times talking about how he thinks Ashley Cole will go to the rags.

Niall was excellent when asked about FFP pre Villa game. He gave a detailed account, one never heard before, one from a Premier League a Chairman.

He detailed how FFP as it is now was not what he was sold, and he thought City's work was excellent for football & the community.

Yes I noticed that interview and how his opinion seemed to have changed but had me wondering if he has now signed up to the "old boys club" because we certainly need one to rival the arse licking the rags, Liverpool and Arsenal get in the media.

Agree so much with this.

Often I think he is a fence-sitter but with the FFP comments pre-Villa he was speaking passionately and with conviction. It had total credibility as well because of his unique position with Sunderland at the time. I thought it was brilliant. Stupendous even :)
