Nice change of logo.

Put a blue moon in the gap above the ship and change the text to normal, and i like it. Clean, uncluttered. jus mho
 
Bit surprised by your post @GeekinGav as I saw nothing but praise for your designs on other threads. You have to accept criticism if you're posting designs, as some people get a little too excited about this kind of stuff - I don't understand why some are so emotionally attached to this like badges (I liked the eagle!!!).

Your stuff above looks good to me.

That's BM for you mate. Half of the fuckwits who give it out couldn't point out the Etihad on a map. The other half who give it out miss most of the game because they're in the bogs sniffing coke. Basically, they're all know fuck all's. Take it with a pinch of salt. Hope you decide to come back at some point.

@Ric : At the risk of sound "picky", might I suggest you do the moon the other way around, as it were?

Perhaps that would make it look less like Bluemocn?

Hahaha.......I used to wonder why so many people needed a shite at half time until my brother told me that wasn't what the bogs were being used for. I'm afraid I was a little naive!

Ric does a great job providing a great platform for fans here, sometimes its a thankless task and he gets criticised for it half the time, but does it for his love of the club. He is a far patient and dedicated man than i will ever be.

Ric has done a fine job. I'm no longer active here, but got the notification i was mentioned here. So i checked it out and its a fine logo. Anyone that disagrees should post their better attempts or shut up!!

I'm sorry that people being knobs means you don't post here anymore. Your designs have always been top notch and the site is worse off without you.

Having said that, I can't agree with you raising the old 'only someone that can make something themselves can have an opinion' argument. Only a film director can criticise a film, only a musician can criticise a band etc.

Does that means that whenever people rightly say that Rooney is a past it fat shit that their opinion is invalid because they aren't professional footballers and pie eaters? I don't agree with that viewpoint.
