Malton, 15-20 miles north of york)

Me and the ex went here a few times. They used to have a discounted rate for certain random periods. Like 3 day spring break tues to thurs and similar. Has a little swimming pool, great food and a snooker table ( though I can't see that in any of the photos anymore). Lovely surrounding area, though no nightlife other than 1 local pub and a really friendly bar with log fire in the hotel.

Nice for a chill and really well priced for the quality of food,room etc.. at discount times.

we stayed at the bulkeley hotel in beaumaris a few weeks ago,
a bit old, traditional,but we upgraded to a sea view and had a most relaxing time very reasonable too
deffo upgrade to sea view tho !!
