And our players & staff applauded them as well, which says a lot to me about the class of our team and the staff. They went all the way round the ground to applaud them.
Yes there was a lot of banter during the match but once it was over they cheered and sang and we applauded them and sang as well.
I hate being at a ground when we win and the opposing team is relegated. It definitely gives you very mixed feelings especially yesterday.
Apart from one jobsworth steward who came along the back of the row where we were standing and told me off for leaning against the back of the seat(!!) everyone was very gracious and wished us luck in the title race, as I have said in another thread one group really want us to beat the rags because they don't want that lot to get to a 20th!!
