15 years ago today. One of the best goals I saw at Maine Road.

I remember the goal and the total disbelief around me when realisation set in after the initial euphoria.

One of my all time favourite Maine Road goals. I was at the top of the North stand and couldn't believe it when it hit the back of the net. I actually think it looked better watching it live. What a strike. Before anybody states it was the Platt Lane end, I know this, I was in the North.

ooooo that was a hell of a goal, but sadly i couldn't go that day.

i am very fond of the Keegan era, and the team he put together. You have to realise we'd gone from 2nd division (League One) playoffs to signing Anelka with Berkovic and Bernarbia and Weaver, in 3 or 4 seasons.

Man City: Schmeichel, Dunne, Howey, Distin, Jihai, Berkovic (Benarbia 84), Foe, Horlock, Jensen, Goater (Wright-Phillips 80), Anelka.
Subs Not Used: Nash, Wiekens, Huckerby.

Leeds: Robinson, Kelly, Mills, Woodgate, Matteo, Smith (Milner 60), Bakke (Fowler 72), Okon, Wilcox, Viduka (Seth Johnson 72), Kewell.

Would have sworn it was and yet when I see a clip from the eighties I always think it seems like only yesterday.
