Can all play out wide. Depending on what we do for a 10 Foden/Marmoush might be needed in the middle and Marmoush/Bobb could be used as back up to Haaland as well.

I think there’s room in the squad for either Williams or another winger depending on sales.
 
LW: Savinho, Doku, (Williams), Marmoush
AM: Foden, Marmoush, Echeverri( Wirtz)
RW: Savinho, Doku, Bobb, Foden.( Wiliiams)
I honestly think we are stacked and can allow 1 guy ( hopefully Wirtz) into the offense even after KDB, Grealish and Bernardo leaving.

Savinho, Doku, Foden, Bobb, Wirtz, Marmoush, Echeverri leave us with 7 players for 3 positions already. All with the fact that Haaland is an absolute starter and will play every game beside maybe 5-6 in a whole season. If Pep plans to rotate Haaland out more often or plans to actually use 5 subs in nearly every game then I could see Williams making sense. But looking how he refuses to sub players on in some games - many of them won’t be happy with their game time
 
Williams is better than Doku, Savinho, Bobb, Nunes, and Echeverri though, so would be well worth signing to improve us. Especially as we have a painful lack of goals from anywhere except Haaland and Marmoush.
 
He is Spains starting LW.

But his numbers for Bilbao are just "okay", nothing special.

Would certainly be the end of Doku, giveb Marmoush is likely the starting LW to invert with a wide LB.

Personally, makes more sense to back Doku, and then give academy players like Emilio Lawrence and Reigan Heskey a crack at LW backup.

Probably just his agent looking to shop him.

Attacking LBs and RBs, Goalies and midfielders is what we need.
 
How many times have we offered a player and then pursued it? Doesn’t seem to be the way we do business. We identify players that work and then go after them.
 
He’s literally no better than the wingers we have. Savinho’s numbers were better in La liga and last season and he’s younger.

Being the LW for Spain, a country that produce very few pacy wide players, isn’t as impressive as you think. Savinho and Doku would start over him for Spain.

Savinho got 9 goals and 10 assists in la liga last season, Williams got 5 and 11. Williams has played 3 full seasons in la liga starting most games and has 11 goals combined and he’s only scored one this season.

Not a stats nerd but Savinho comes out on top in all of these stats from last season.

Spain only has him and Lamine . You can include Yeremy Pino from Villarreal and that’s it. Not hard to start for Spain who only produce CM and fullbacks.

His role at Bilbao is that of a touchline hugging winger, he's not exactly meant to be the one scoring goals inside. It's not his role

You saw his talent in person at the euros. Electric player. If he's available for the clause and wants to come to us, we should pay it.

So if he‘s another touchline winger why would city go for him with Doku being the touchline winger already? Because of strong EUROS? I am sure doku would play better too in a non static team with actual help from the fullbacks

Because if players like grealish/Silva are to depart that opens up a lot of minutes for a player to be rotated in, specifically one who can play on both sides like Nico

For 51m you answer those questions later..he's obviously worth the cost to any team in the world.
 
If they go to CL.. he might stay. Persuasion campaign will be massive from people, and his brother too, if not he will probably go to Barca.

And nah hes played everywhere for Bilbao, and changes role during the games a well. Actually played better to the right early in his career after a slight drop after he broke through on the left. Often placed centrally during phases of games nowadays.

Savinho was a pure wide left winger at Girona, Miguel inverted on that side.

He’s literally nowhere near as good as Doku.

He plays for a team that play for counter attacks and specifically organise their team to get him individually chances 1v1 on the break.

He’s getting the star treatment and his numbers are still not that impressive.

Imagine him against low blocks. Doku is the only winger in the world that can beat a man from a standing start.

I’ll eat my words if we sign him and he turns to gold but I honestly don’t think he’s anything special.
